The Lancaster County LINK, the Link to Aging and Disability Resources, is hosting its monthly partners’ meeting and cross-training workshop on Thursday, April 26 at Red Rose Transit Authority, 45 Erick Road, Lancaster, PA.
The monthly collaborative partners’ meeting begins at 1:00 pm. Prospective and current collaborative partners are invited to come for the meeting and the cross-training workshop to find out more about Lancaster County LINK and the collaborative partnership process. Immediately following the meeting, three presenters representing Red Rose Transit Authority (RRTA) will present mini-presentations about their services for persons over 60 and persons with disabilities:
- Marchal Simmons, RRTA, will overview the “shared-ride program.”
- Jennifer Boley, RRTA, will address public transportation issues.
- Jane Kochenash, RRTA partner, Easton Coach, will be narrating the training of drivers; route descriptions and how services are provided.
The Lancaster County Link to Aging and Disability Resources is a coordinated network of Core and Collaborative Partner agencies which allows for the consumer to initiate contact with any Link Network partner to access information, assistance, and resources.
