Elizabethtown arrest

The Elizabethtown Police Department issued the following press release:

The Elizabethtown Police Department received a complaint regarding unlawful contact between an adult male and a juvenile female. Through investigation, police learned that David Ringer, 29, of Elizabethtown, Pa, had met the 13 year old juvenile victim online in 2014. The investigation determined that Ringer communicated with the victim online and by cellular telephone. Ringer met with the juvenile victim on numerous occasions, where he had sexual contact with the juvenile victim. As a result of the investigation, David Ringer, 29, of Elizabethtown, Pa, has been charged with Statutory Sexual Assault graded as a felony of the first degree, two counts of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse graded as a felony of the first degree, Unlawful Contact with a Minor graded as a felony of the first degree, Aggravated Indecent Assault graded as a felony of the second degree, Corruption of Minors graded as a Felony of the third degree, and Indecent Assault graded as a misdemeanor of the second degree.

On January 20, 2016, David Ringer was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge David Miller and committed to Lancaster County Prison on $100,000 cash bail. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.
