Forty years after the fall of Saigon and the effective end of the Vietnam War, Elizabethtown College takes a look at how Americans and Vietnamese see one another.

“The Fall of Saigon: 40 Years Later” takes place from 11 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, April 29, in the College’s KAV in Brossman Commons.

The event features presentations by Vietnam vets and current Vietnamese students at Elizabethtown College and is supplemented with a Skype conversation with Dr. Peggy McFarland who is on a Fulbright Fellowship in Vietnam this semester.

The program, sponsored by College’s Center for Global Understanding and Peacemaking, is free.
