FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE

GEARS is accepting registration for its Flag Football League until Wednesday, August 10.  Seven-person coed flag football league.  Non-contact throw, catch and flag pull league with an 8-game schedule and playoffs.  Minimum 1 female participating in the game.  League play will be Sundays, August 19 through early November from 1-5 pm.  Team entry is $500 per team. Adventure Camps Offered

          Adventure Camp I – Are you ready for an exciting week of awesome activities? Each day this camp will have a different theme, as well as other activities to do. Themes will include Carnival Day (bounce house), Animal Day, Scavenger Hunt Day and Water Day! Lunch will be provided each day at noon. Ages 6-14. Camp is on Monday-Friday, August 6-10 from 9 am-1 pm at the Elizabethtown Park (300 Mount Joy Street, Elizabethtown).  Fee is $85 for GEARS members ($92 non-members).

         Adventure Camp II – Another exciting week of awesome activities! Each day this camp will have a different theme, as well as other activities to do. Themes will include Water Day, Tie Dye Day, Music Day, Carnival Day (bounce house) and Capture the Flag Day! Lunch will be provided each day at noon. Ages 6-14. Camp is on Monday-Friday, August 13-17 from 9 am-1 pm at the Elizabethtown Park (300 Mount Joy Street, Elizabethtown).  Fee is $85 for GEARS members ($92 non-members).

 Learn To Swim Classes

            GEARS offers Learn To Swim classes for ages 4 and older.  This program provides opportunities for achievement and allows smooth transition between levels of instruction.  Activities offered at every level stimulate interest and motivate participants to advance to the next level of instruction.  Classes are on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, August 6-17. Preschool (ages 4-5) is from 8-8:30 am. Level I is from 8:30-9 am, Level II from 9-9:30 am and Level III/IV from 9:30-10:15 am. Moo-Duk-Kwan Karate

 GEARS invites you to join its Moo-Duk-Kwan Karate program.

Gain self defense, self discipline and self respect with physical fitness benefits with year-round instruction for children and adults.  The instructor, Roger Engle, is a 7^th degree black belt and has taught with GEARS since 1978.  This is a Korean Martial Art with a white through black belt system for ages 5 through adults.

Classes will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, August 7, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 27, 28 & 30 from 6-7:30 pm in the Elizabethtown Middle School Wrestling Room (600 East High Street, Elizabethtown).  Fee is $30/month for GEARS members and $37 for non-members.

 Phillies Baseball Trip

 Join us at Citizens Park as the Atlanta Braves take on the Philadelphia Phillies. Trip is on Saturday, September 22. Time is tba. Fee is $89 for member ($95 non-member).
