Senior Center Activities Week of June 14

The Senior Center is located in the GEARS Community Center, Elizabethtown and is open Monday through Friday. Call the center for more information about the activities or to make reservations at 367-7984. The Elizabethtown Senior Center is a service of GEARS and the Lancaster County Office of Aging.
Thursday, June 14: 8:30-9:30am walking, 9am Quilting, 9:30am Exercise w/Sherry, 10am Check your own blood pressure, 10:30am Bonnie’s Kids, 12:30 Pinochle, 1pm Bridge. Lunch will be: turkey w/gravy, mixed veggies, stuffing, fruit.
Friday, June 15: 8:30-9:30am walking, 9am All day bingo, 10am Bible Study, 5pm T.G.I.F Pinochle Party, please call for reservations and availability. Lunch will be: a bag lunch will be served.
Monday, June 18: 8:30-9:30am walking, 9am Greet the Heart Camp kids, 9:30am Laddergolf and Shuffleboard, 11:15am Meet the Heart Camp kids, 12:30pm Pinochle. Lunch will be: ham salad sandwich, broccoli soup, mixed fruit.
Tuesday, June 19: 8:30-9:30am walking, 9am Pancakes, 9:30am exercise w/Sherry, 10:15am Nutrition w/Donna, 1pm Bridge. Lunch will be: lasagna, salad, pudding.
Wednesday, June 20: 8:30-9:30am walking, 9am Produce Voucher Distribution, 9:30am armchair exercise, 10am Wii Bowling and table games, 1pm Pick up Central Penn Food Bank boxes. Lunch will be: pork w/sauerkraut, potatoes, applesauce.

Grandma’s Attic Yard Sale
The Elizabethtown Area Senior Center will hold an indoor yard sale on Saturday, July 14 from 7am-noon. The yard sale will be held at the GEARS Community Center at 70 S. Poplar St., Elizabethtown. Items for sale include books, plants, attic treasures, bake goods, a basket raffle. The kitchen will be open for refreshments. Turkey Pot Pie will be featured and for eat in or take out available after 10am.
Tables are also available to rent for anyone to bring their own yard sale items. Call the center for details and cost.
All proceeds will benefit the activities at the senior center. Please call the center at 367-7984 for more information.
