A community gathering will be held on Monday, Memorial Day, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Rails to Trail Bicycle Shop on the Hershey Road.  The bicycle shop is located near Beverly Road and borders the soon to be developed Old Trolley Line Park in Mount Joy Township.  Also participating is Elizabethtown Landscaping, located on the same block and also bordering the park.  Those who show up are eligible to submit a free raffle ticket.  Prizes will be given away by the two respective businesses.  Rails to Trail Bicycle Shop will raffle a Diamondback comfort/trail bicycle valued at $420 and Elizabethtown Landscaping will raffle a valuable prize too.  You must submit the raffle ticket on Memorial Day, but you do not need to be present at the drawing to win.

Hot dogs, slushies, and other drinks will be available for sale. The hot dog sale will be part of a hot dog grilling contest between the two supporting businesses.  All proceeds will be donated to the Old Trolley Line Park fund to support the development of the parkland.  Members of the Park Committee will be in attendance.  Guests are encouraged to walk, run, or ride to the venue.
