College Avenue Corridor
Sep 21st, 2010 | By Mike Schwartz | Category: Features, Front Page, UncategorizedThis is a second in a series of photo essays profiling Elizabethtown area neighborhoods.
College Avenue is primarily a residential street. It extends just west of Market Street to the east end of Elizabethtown College. Although not a quiet street, it is not a particularly busy thoroughfare. However, a project to extend the west end of College Avenue is currently under construction. The impact that the extension will have on local residential traffic is yet to be determined.
The area is primarily residential. There are a few commercial buildings near Market Street and the college borders the south side of the avenue on the other end. Most residences are single family with several multi-family homes on the west end.
