Nestled in along the Conewago Creek is a stately home, known today as the Conewago Manor. It is a home with an interesting story that has ties to significant events in medicine. Our guest speaker, Donald Penze will be a first person person interpreter, portraying renowned Dr. Alexander. Travel with us as we journey back to the mid 1800’s and discover the secrets of the “the Farm”. The Murphy’s are the current Proprietors of the Manor and will share interesting photos and memorabilia pertaining to the Manor.
The presentation will be held on February 16, 2010 from 8:00 pm to 8:45 pm at the Historical Society. There will be a pre-presentation gathering starting at 7:00.
