Jazz hits the stage at Elizabethtown College in October

ELIZABETHTOWN, PA – Elizabethtown College gets its jazz on next month with two free concerts in the College’s Leffler Chapel and Performance Center.

At 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, the College’ s Monday Series Concert features an Evening of Jazz, Old and New, with David Cullen on guitar. Cullen is a Grammy Award-winning guitarist and Elizabethtown College Artist-in-Residence. He, along with Kirk Reese on piano, Steve Meashey on bass and Paul Jost on drums presents jazz standards and new selections from New York City’s top jazz artists.

The College’s Choral and Jazz Band perform a Homecoming Concert at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. Concert Choir, College-Community Chorus, Women’s Choir, Vocal Ensemble and Camerata, along with the hard-swingin’ Jazz Band, perform.
