Senior Center activities week of March 22

EAHS students claim prizes at National History Day competition

March 14, 2018- Students from Elizabethtown Area High School recently took part in the 2018 National History Day (NHD) regional competition at Kutztown University. High school juniors Ryan Minnich, Sean Brown, and Nat McCloud as well as high school freshmen Benjamin Heinz and Ryan Risser all represented the district at the competition. High School social studies teacher, Gerald Huesken Jr, advised the students on their current contest roles through the High School’s National History Day club.         Discover Dance  Class is designed to encourage younger children in a fun way to express themselves through creative movement and ballet. Dancers will develop body awareness, gross motor skills, rhythm and flexibility. Class is on Monday, March 19-April 23, from 5:45-6:30 pm for ages 3-4 and from 6:30-7:15 pm for ages 5-6. KnockOut PD Event Supports Parkinson’s Foundation

ELIZABETHTOWN — March 3, 2018 — On Saturday, April 14th, the Parkinson’s Foundation, in partnership with All Pro Trailer Superstore, will be hosting their first KnockOut PD 5K run/walk at Masonic Villages, 1 Masonic Drive in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. April is Parkinson’s Awareness month and this fundraising event is to help raise awareness and highlight the need for more research and support of Parkinson’s disease (PD).
