Although the ending is pessimistic, sadly, it is true. Maybe our politicians should pay more attention to the words of this child before sending our sons and daughters to war. Peace is priceless.

I absolutely love this poem. It shows so much knowledge and includes a lesson about human greed. Perfect! I can't believe she's only in seventh grade!

Haven't heard of that from anyone. Different browsers do react to the code differently. Since most browsers are free, it wouldn't be a bad idea to download a different browser and use it as a backup when your primary browser is acting up.

Can somebody else please provide feedback and let me know if this is happening to them as well? This may be a problem with my internet browser because I've had this happen previously.
Thank you

I am looking for friends or relatives of Robert R. Bodman who passed in Jan 2012 at 81years old. He was a dear friend of my fathers, who received many letters from Bob when he lived in Port St. Lucie. Can you please email me if you are a cousin or friend of Robert Bodman's? Thank-you

I've said it before, and I'll say it again repeatedly: Elizabethtown has adequate parking. You might not always get to park right in front of Subway or in the free spaces directly behind the library, but there is parking. The only time I have had any serious trouble with parking was during the Taste of Western Lancaster County when half the town was at the library. Any other time, even during busy Second Fridays, I have been able to get parking somewhere. Yes, it required walking from the free lot behind Groff's, but I think the point of Second Fridays is to get people to walk downtown.

If the downtown wants to thrive like other municipalities (Lititz , Mt Joy, et.al.) not only do you need shops and things to entice people to come downtown, but you need reliable parking too.

Hahahaha, the first portion confused me and caused me to post the comment in the first place. As a cyclist I took it seriously. After posting I continued reading, and by the time I got down to this: "This will require the use of the military to capture the oil reserves in rogue states including but not limited to: Iran, UAE, China, Kuwait, Venezuela, Nigeria, Norway, and Kazakhstan." I knew for sure that it was fake. It was enjoyable in its ridiculousness. Good job!

It is unfortunate that the article was not recognized as a parody. Yes the study and the response are fictitious. The intent of the piece is to illustrate how the omnipresent political commentarians can conduct a study, usually without scientific rigor, to arrive at the same conclusions which they always embrace. In this case with little or no justification or logical connection. In this parody, the neo-cons were used as an example, but any of the other ideological groups could have been used as the example.
