        Discover Dance  Class is designed to encourage younger children in a fun way to express themselves through creative movement and ballet. Dancers will develop body awareness, gross motor skills, rhythm and flexibility. Class is on Monday, March 19-April 23, from 5:45-6:30 pm for ages 3-4 and from 6:30-7:15 pm for ages 5-6. KnockOut PD Event Supports Parkinson’s Foundation

ELIZABETHTOWN — March 3, 2018 — On Saturday, April 14th, the Parkinson’s Foundation, in partnership with All Pro Trailer Superstore, will be hosting their first KnockOut PD 5K run/walk at Masonic Villages, 1 Masonic Drive in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. April is Parkinson’s Awareness month and this fundraising event is to help raise awareness and highlight the need for more research and support of Parkinson’s disease (PD). Economic inequality lecture at Brethern Church

The Elizabethtown College is sponsoring a talk on Wednesday February 28 at the Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren.  Tim Wise will discuss economic inequality in the United States and challenges the notion that a “culture of poverty” is to blame for generational inequality in the nation. Instead, Wise asserts that certain social structures prevent economic sufficiency and has or is leading to the creation of a permanent underclass in America.
