Middle school films Lip Dub to promote student empowerment and bully free schools
May 3rd, 2013 | By Troy Portser | Category: Front Page, NewsMay 3, 2013- After months of planning and preparation, school unity took center stage as Elizabethtown Area Middle School promoted bully free schools and student empowerment by filming its very own Lip Dub on April 19. As a way of fostering a sense of inclusion and togetherness, all 600+ students in the school were part of the film. The project was tied to the school’s Olweus Bullying Prevention Initiative. The goal of the fun, creative school-wide project was to promote the benefits of positive peer-to-peer interactions.
