View two documentary independent films produced by local filmmaker Jerry Greiner.  The Sitting Machine (90 min) 7:00 pm. A top ten audienc favorite – Philadelphia Film Festival and Cinefest One Buccaneer (90 min)  8:30 pm. This movie is brilliant! We discover the heart, dreams and soul of the puppeter! This is an interesting film about real people in a real situation. I loved it.

Like A.P. Carter, Steve Pavao is the patriarch of a family band: the Pavao Family Band, in fact. Steve’s songs share with those of the Carter Family the conveyance of simple but timeless messages told with little adornment. Unlike ol’ A.P. however, who did a great deal of song collecting, Steve’s repertoire consists primarily of original compositions.
